It looks like Philip Odum was up at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge when he snapped this shot looking over at Brockway Mountain. This is an angle of that Copper Harbor landmark that we don't often see photographed and first glance at it, kind of reminded me of looking at the mountains out west, since it looks like there's only snow on the top of the mountain. Actually, that snow up high in these photos is probably pretty well melted away with the rains and 40° temperatures we've been experiencing of late. We're definitely having a strange March, as far as the weather goes, with pouring rain at times, thunder and I even saw a flash of lightning the other night. Can it really be spring this soon?

What WONDERFUL pictures, and the bare tree branches almost gives that second pic the look of the mountain rising out of smoke or something!! Very cool pictures! And come Spring, when those branches are filled with budding leaves...it'll have that beautiful green tint...(Phil...you'll need to do this every season!) :D

WOW AND TNX !!!!!! well i hiked brockway yesterday afternoon and my almost!!! all the snow's gone unbelievable i seen a butterfly flying around too,, in march... anyways lots of copperdog teams are showing up in copper harbor this morning tnx mary for choosing my pics!!!!

WOW! I usually see pictures taken FROM Brockway MTN., not the other way around. Very nice!

this is indeed a very great view of Brockway.
I need to take a week and get up there just to tour around and take some pictures.

This pic of Brockway Mountain looks a lot like House Mountain near me here in E.TN. that I can see out the window which has been snow covered often, as this was the most snowfall I have seen in the 6 yrs. lived here.

Beautiful pictures today! Amazing the snow is gone up on that mountain -- wow! When I was at Tech it was often mid or end April before it was gone. Rain and warm temps helps.
