That's an interesting anomaly I've never noticed. When the four messages were originally posted, they were all time-stamped with 8:01. Apparently Steve and Paul went back and edited their notes, re-stamping the time.

Yes it sure is Deb!! Great site created by great people, for great people!

To complicate matters, the re-stamped time is only on the moderator's dashboard.

LOL..Hilarious Deb..."I woke up on the right side of the ground"...hahhaaa....

And it's raining there? I woke up to 48 degrees outside...no rain tho. (No shoveling either, eh Deb!! It's liquid snow! LOL)

I say we call for a Congressional investigation into the time-stamp scandal.

I'm with RD. I don't think it's fair that we can't see the restamping of the original stamp...........or whatever, lol!!

Actually for some odd reason, I posted the exact same message twice at 8:01 (even though I know I only hit the "post" button once). Once discovered, I went in and edited the second 8:01 post with "There ya go Charlie; a 4-way tie" and left the first one alone.

Beats me as to why it does that either. I just hope this doesn't result in a bunch of hanging and/or pregnant chads....

When I tried to post I got an error and was locked out? I used the back button and re posted and it worked?? Dont know if it was all the traffic trying to post that caused the error but it has happened in the past and I was not able to post at all.

Sounds like another "hanging chad" incident. :)
By the way Charlie, you are going to have to build a bigger coup for these birds...it's get'n crowded.

Good Morning! We have a second beautiful day in the neighborhood, before more of the humid heat returns here. Awesome pictures today. I especially love the flowers, with the buttercups in front of the waterfalls, and the bull moose in the water, photos. Thank you for a great start to the day. And, congratulations to Deb S., Janie T, Steve, and Capt Paul on their 4-way tie for the Early Bird this morning; I don't remember that happening before!

Really like the Smith Fisheries, wish I was out there in my boat right now, or back there in the woods with Marty 4 wheelin!

I have edited a number of my messages — after the fact — often more than a few minutes after the initial posting, and I have never seen them acquire a new date/time stamp. Nor will the "Messages since I last checked for new messages" search recognize them as 'new'. Likewise, the moderator's blue editorial comments added to a message also do not ever cause the message to be recognized as 'new'.

Shouldn't all this "hanging chad" and congressional investigations talk be moved to the "Politics and Religion, Ketchup and Gravy" page? :) I always love seeing the pictures from past years. It brings back some fond memories of many different times, places, and people.

Jbuck- That would be great news and I would think, save our university a few dollars. They were in the WCHA for awhile years back if memory serves me correctly. Either way, they're still our team and I can't wait for the next National Championship! Besides, Tech could use a big brother! LOL, Cap., Marianne etc.....

After reading all of these, I'm glad I'm not the only one having problems posting early in the morning. Sometimes, I watch carefully but the new day does not show up until 8:06 or 8:07 and already has postings with answers by the time I see it the first time. I've even posted on the day before with Good morning (because that's all that shows up for me) at 8:02 or 8:03am only to find that other people have posted on the current day at 7:55am or so but I couldn't see that. I'm not sure why this happens and in the overall scheme of things, it's not important. Just good to know I have company.
