I bet a few of our viewers are thinking, 'Is it the end of the month already?' My apologies if I confused anyone with this collection of sunrise/sunset photos today, but there have been so many good ones crossing my desk lately, that there just aren't enough "end of the month" dates to get them all in. I know how much everyone enjoys watching the sun rise or set, so I decided to run a Special on them today. Photos like these need few words, so I'll just credit the photographers for their excellent work and leave it at that.

Beautiful. The 1 with the sun's rays showing through the clouds reminds me of the same scenario I saw going home from my Grandma's funeral in December 1973. It was like it was saying Grandma was now in glory with the Lord. The 1 with the red sky is how weather can be forcast in rhyme (red sky in the morning, sailor take warning. Red sky at night, sailor's delight).

Oh my gosh, I can't decide which one to set as my desktop background!

I agree with all of you, these are outstanding shots! Donna's looks like the tropics. Beautiful!

I just got back from spending two weeks in the UP. I really enjoyed my nights watching the sunsets on Lake Superior!!

EARLY one morning, I was sitting in front of this thing, and turned my head, and yelled "OH MY GOD"...and threw on some clothes and ran out the door....My blinds were RED....When I got to my spot and took the picture, the rain was just starting...and before the sun crested, the whole sky turned grey. I jumped in my car, and by the time I got in my yard, it was pouring, and grey...

Ya just never know eh! Red Sky in the Morning, indeed!
