With the sunshine recently, it seems to have brought a few of our Pasty Cam Photographers outdoors to catch some of those rays and also to capture a few Keweenaw shots. Chad Johnson is our roving reporter today and it looks like he was hot on the trails of the Keweenaw County Sheriff, as he was leaving the Courthouse. This is one of those "being in the right place, at the right time" shots, to get two of the County seats with one click of the shutter. ;->

Then Chad moseyed along and stopped for a view of Lake Superior from Esrey Park and the shelter that's situated there for weary travelers to sit down and soak up some Keweenaw fresh air. And just so you don't think that the sunshine and warmer temps have melted ALL our snow UP North, Chad also snapped a shot of what you'll find in the shaded areas of the woods...a bit of a snow drift that might hang on for awhile without any direct sunlight hitting it. That's our report from the Keweenaw for today... enjoy the weekend!

Our wedding took place in that shelter at Esrey Park back in 1984. Have a great week. Keep the votes coming in for the CCHS.

GREAT shots Chad! And I thought that last shot could be in the backyard, till I saw the "ROAD CLOSED" sign there....Where are you Chad? :D

And let's hammer the vote again folks! GO TEAM PASTY!

Come on everyone. It takes less than 10 seconds of your time to vote. Take the time and do it!

Yesterday I was out in the yard. Crocuses and snowdrops in
bloom--hyacinths have flower buds. It seems that spring is on
time. I woke up this morning to snow. The ground is covered
again and it is still coming down!

Good snowy morning my friends, a good 2" here in NW Il. I'm wondering where your parking is by the courthouse? Here in my town it's hard finding some where to do courthouse business. Yours looking too serene :) That park shelter looks like the one down by Baraga we always stopped at on the way to the Slattery's in Hubbel. Good memories.

Bill and I were just outside seeing what we can do this spring as far as flowers and things like that. Something we can do that we were not allowed to do where we lived at in Auburn Hills, put out flowers. ;O) Can not wait.

"...it takes less than ten seconds to vote." Huh? It takes probably 3 minutes here on the dial-up! Besides the "this webpage cannot be displayed." displays. :o)
