What a nasty week ahead in SE Texas. It's supposed to feel more like summer with temps in the 90's and heat indices around 105, yuk!! At least in a couple weeks the Dr. and I get to escape for a week; we're going to Portland, Oregon for the annual Geological Society of America conference.

According to their website, Remax/Douglass Real Estate serves Houghton, Keweenaw, Baraga, and Ontonagan counties. So Marianne would be the only one with the correct answer.

This has been a weird summer, a late summer and fall so far! I don't know about you all, but I am really not ready for the cold & slipperiness (ice and snow) of winter yet!
