Perhaps you remember a Sunday School class we featured a few years back, in a different season:

skiers
The man in the middle is Ted Anderson, former owner of Ted's Grocery in Iron Mountain. His daughter Melodie Hayes sent along a note with today's class picture:
Remember the skiing picture of my dad the Sunday School teacher? This is Ted Anderson again, but this time in his own Sunday School class in 1922. He is in the lower left in the front row and would be about 12 in this photo.
Teddy
It was probably the Swedish Mission Church at this time, later First Covenant Church in Iron Mountain. Others in the photo that I remember are Roy Nelson, Lawrence Rahm, Rudy Freeman, and possibly my uncle Willard Anderson, but it doesn't look like him to me. Lots of Swedes in Iron Mountain, so there could be another W.A.
Happy Father's Day to dads everywhere, especially those for whom it is their first. One such dad comes to mind, our son-in-law Bryan Howard, co-author of our first grand baby, Kira, born last summer:
Bryan and Kira
As an added bonus, this week's Cameo is a bit longer than usual, one family's adventures on summer vacation two years ago.

Have a great Father's Day, and have a good week :o)

Happy Fathers day to all the Dads. Wishing mine was still here. Love ya Dad, not a day goes by that I don't think of you.

Special Dad's day thoughts as I remember my dad, Al Boorman, who rests gently in the Eagle Harbor cemetary and my mind. He taught me my love of the outdoors. I like to think he rides on my shoulder guiding me through great adventures of life...

Remembering my dad, John Spellich Sr. He loved gardening and took pride in his gardens and yard. I got my love for the outdoors from him. One thing he always told all 7 of us was "if you do something do it right"! I think of you alot Dad and will always miss you. Frances
