On this day in 2002 the gears behind the scenes were found in what clock tower?

Good morning! Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there in pasty land.

John, how'd you know that answer?

Loved the fireworks picture.

By Jim Anderson (N8pbj) on Sunday, June 21, 2009 - 10:16 am:

Yeah....how did you know that???

Happy father's day, bro.

By Thomas Baird (Thomas) on Sunday, June 21, 2009 - 11:47 am:

Good, especially the flowers + raindrops pic. Happy Father's Day, 2.

By John W Anderson (Wd8rth) on Sunday, June 21, 2009 - 11:48 am:

Happy Father's day to you too, bro and Good Morning Deb S.

As the answer was not in the decade in review. I went back in the archives to this date in 2002 and read the comments. Sometimes Charlie makes you do some PI work for the answer.

Maybe John put 'em there. :) Happy Father's Day to all you daddies!

Wish me luck and grant me patience...I am going out driving for the first time with my daughter who now has her driving permit. Help......

Cindy, buckle up and just shut your eyes. If you feel a bump in the road, it might just be your stomach. :)

Driver’s License? No problemo! First, make sure your daughter brings her cell phone. Now, you and your daughter must drive into a Starbucks (hopefully there is a drive-thru window) and each obtain a large coffee. While she is driving and drinker her tasty beverage, have her text at least three friends. When she is comfortable texting and drinking coffee, then fold down the vanity mirror so she can fix her hair while driving with one knee. When she has accomplished these very important skills, she will be ready for certification and you will be certifiable : )

By Cindy Pihlaja Russell (Gone2long) on Sunday, June 21, 2009 - 06:33 pm:

Whew! I made it back from the first drive. She didn't do too badly. I'll teach her how to do make-up and the phone and drive with her knee next week. How did this happen so fast? She was just riding around on a tricycle yesterday, wasn't she??

By Cindy Pihlaja Russell (Gone2long) on Sunday, June 21, 2009 - 06:40 pm:

All this just brought this very favorite Kingston Trio song to mind:

Where are you going, my little one, little one?
Where are you going, my baby, my own?
Turn around and you're two. Turn around and you're four.
Turn around and you're a young girl going out of the door. Turn around. Turn around. Turn around and you're a young girl going out of the door.

Where are you going, my little one, little one? Little dirndls and petticoats, where have you gone?
Turn around and you're tiny. Turn around and you're grown.
Turn around and you're a young wife with
babes of your own. Turn around. Turn around. Turn around and you're a young wife with babes of your own.
