We woke up this morning to about a foot of new snow. Hope it melts in time for the fireworks in Copper Harbor on the 4th of July.

Well, it's about 22 degrees on this beautiful spring morning. It's supposed to be 70 by Tuesday. I guess we skip spring again this year.

Deb, 70? That would be nice. I think they are talking mid 40's here. Heading out to locate the end of the driveway soon so I can actually get the car out of it, hoping it doesn't fill in right away. Waiting until the snowplows push back that little bit towards the curb so I am not doing it twice. As it is it will be the most halfa-- shoveling job done this winter.

Yesterday at about 4:15 the temp was 76 degrees, as I drove north, 5 minutes later it was 58! I went into the restaurant and the waitress said, "Did you know the temperature just dropped from 76 to 58?" The same story was on TV, so I guess we all weren't dreaming! Then the storms started. We had the heavy rains, but that's all I saw in spite of what the Doppler said. The weatherman said the storm will reach Genesee at 7:07. I never saw it! Anyway, we slowly get back to the 70's next Friday, and we'll do it all over again, as storms are predicted for that day. It's rainy right now, but that's spring for ya!

Here is a photo from your backyard. yesterday is was bare and gray, today 4" and still snowing.

Still snowing here too in lovely Ishpeming!! Four inches we could have dealt with. We have over a foot!! I feel sorry for the little birds. I went out and shoveled for them under the bird feeder. I don't know how to upload a picture, or I'd show you all what I'm talking about.

Try this procedure:
In the "Add a Message" box below, just type in \ image{xx} (with a title for the picture instead of xx) to upload. The preview page shows a temporary graphic labelled "Your Image Here", then when you click "Post this Message" it asks you to browse for the image on your hard disk, and it uploads it to this page, (replacing the temporary graphic in your message).

Make sure your image is no wider than 560 pixels, and it should be in .jpg format.

If that doesn't work, you can email it to gallery@pasty.com

Snow IS a four-letter word, isn't it??? Well, it's snowing here in Lansing...hopefully for the last time until at least November. Argh...!
