Some folks hang decorations for each season and it looks like Brenda Leigh is one of them, having hung her snowman in the first photo back in October. So…I guess that means we can probably blame Brenda for the snow faucet getting stuck in the ON position here In the U.P. ;-)

I do like the way the snow flurries have put an icing like coating on the wall and the sled in the second photo, too. You have to admit, whether you like the snow or not, it does make for some beautiful photos this time of year.

I spent a lot of time as a kid on a sled just like that, savage grip on those wooden handlebars, looking for as much gravity as I could find. Winter was just a barrel of monkeys every day. Thanks Brenda!

We should get a pool going for the date that the snow will reach the top of the sled :-O

Heard on WMPL radio the other day that Painesdale already had close to 80 inches of snow this year!

For years I have 2 Flexible Flyers sleds that we got when kids back in the 50's-60's hanging in our barn, I had Bob get them out, put bows on them and set them out for Christmas decorations. Still using them after all these years!

Now there are some candy canes that will definitely break your teeth.
Cute but cold pix, Brenda!

Leave it to me. I believe my real name is procrastinator (or whatever). As I mentioned I still haven't gotten my flu shot. Now my lighted candy canes are only half in place. Waited to long and they are just stuck in the flower bed snow. Ground froze up since I was placing them in a couple each day. My Christmas tree is only half lite. Somethings not right. Maybe I'll get some ornaments hung by time Christmas gets here. You know, Christmas is just no fun like it was when swarms of kids were still here. I miss the fun of shopping, wrapping and all that it entailes.

I love the pics, Brenda! Amen to the savage grip on the handlebars, Dunerat!! And Kay, I know there's a half-way decent pun in amongst the procrastination, but I guess I'll just wait until tomorrow to think of it. :) May we all remember the reason for the season, and be blessed.

Amen, Karen!
