Well, it must be 2012. Nice review, Charlie!

Pretty sure you're all right, lol!

I love the frosted window picture. It reminds me of our windows when I was a kid. Sometimes you'd have to scrape them off so you could see outside. Also love the snow dog and the bridge picture. Very nice!

Have a happy Saturday! It's below zero this morning. Ron was going to take the 3 oldesst grandkids ice fishing, but he wasn't planning on the "icy" temps!! We'll see how much it warms up as it was supposed to be near 40 today.

Was 2012 a leap year or something?

By DEAN SCHWARTZ SR. (Lulu) on Saturday, March 2, 2013 - 01:54 pm:

"1998", "GOOD AFTERNOON".

"Was 2012 a leap year or something?"

Yes it was.

If the year is divisible by 400 (with no remainder) it IS a leap year; if it is not, then if it is divisible by 100, it is NOT a leap year; then if it is not divisible by 100, but it is divisible by 4 it IS a leap year!

Thus 2000 and 2012 were leap years, but 1900 was not, and 2100, 2200, and 2300 also will not be!

These adjustments are necessary 'cuz the solar year is equal to 365.2422 days.

That's too much work, FRNash, think I'd rather just look at the calendar.;)

By Gary W. Long (Gary_in_co) on Saturday, March 2, 2013 - 09:47 pm:

FRNash: It was a rhetorical question.

By Thomas Baird (Thomas) on Sunday, March 3, 2013 - 08:03 am:

What's interesting about Leap Year is that Ash Wednesday has never occurred on Feb. 29, and is not scheduled to until 2096, according to the World Almanac.
