By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 07:53 am:

By Waveaction (Lakelover) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 08:01 am:

In every election there is a victor and a runner up.. Remember please that all the candidates spent their time, money and energy for their country and the people that live in the boundaries.. Please be respectful of what you post about the outcome.

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 08:23 am:

Oh puh-leeze!!!

By Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 08:25 am:

Nice pics...and I see no disrespect here, hindsight being 20/20.

By Uncle Chuck (Unclechuck) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 08:31 am:

Deer hunting is next week, maybe I'll buy a new 4X4 pickup truck today, should I get a RAM or a CHEVROLET or a GMC?

By FJL (Langoman) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 08:45 am:

Some thing from Gov. Motors I suspect............

By Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 08:52 am:

UC...Consumer Reports recommends Chevy (GMC) Avalanche, Ford F-150 and Ram-1500 in that order. Good luck on opening day.

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 08:52 am:

Uncle Chuck....I say a FORD RANGER!;)

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 09:04 am:

U.C. I think you would look awesome in a Hummer!

By kay Moore (Mskatie) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 09:23 am:

I wondered how much whining would be on here this mornin, either way.

By Diana P. (Diana) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 09:57 am:

UC, shopping ... there's a pick-me-up! Why not go with a Ford? The Consumer Reports recommendation of the F-150 might be worth checking out. :-)

By Tom (Tom) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 10:04 am:

When will Gov Motors pay back the loans to the taxpyers? They are making profits aren't they?

By FJL (Langoman) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 10:32 am:

Not 'winining' Mskatie, just facing stark reality about the next four years......

By Eugene Zuverink (Zube) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 10:40 am:

I don't know what it means but I agree
Oh puh-leeze !!

By Eugene Zuverink (Zube) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 10:47 am:

No whining Kay,just discouragement. It didn't go my way so I'm taking my bat and going home.

By Eugene Zuverink (Zube) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 10:50 am:

Oh goodness. Oh please, I get it Deb.

Hello..I stop by here each day to take a peek. I am sure many of you remember me from the 2008 election & the things I said on here that would happen if Obama won..just wanted to say hello on this day to you..

By Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 01:18 pm:

Hi David...how's it going? Are you missing TN yet?

By jbuck (Jbuck) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 02:37 pm:

We've always been GM fans, but the next one will probably be a Ford.

By Robert - CO (Halork) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 06:31 pm:

I went to look, hoping last year's picture was a WOW, but it's not. Then I noticed the WOW page hasn't been updated in over 6 months! Nobody using wallpaper anymore? I always appreciated the high-definition versions of the pictures.

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 07:12 pm:

You got it, Gene :-)

By jbuck (Jbuck) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 08:40 pm:

A lot to agree with on the page today.......Deb,
David, Zube, FJL.

By Daveofmohawk (Daveofmohawk) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 09:24 pm:

Always been kind of a GM fan myself but I was surprised to learn that the number one most made in America vehicle is the Toyota Avelon, in second place was the Honda Accord, third was a Chevy Cargo Van and then 4th and 5th place were again Toyota and Honda.

By D. A. (Midwested) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 09:42 pm:

As the proud owner of a 1999 Ford Ranger, I say
get one as soon as possible as they have been
phased out. Their last year of production was
2011.

As far as the election goes, we have elected the
President that the people want. I will continue to
work hard and pay my taxes. The 4 year experiment
(or correction to some) now becomes the 8 year
experiment. Presidential elections have been
coarse and offensive dating back to Jefferson vs.
Adams but I simply hope for some honesty to be
restored; not so much to the campaigns but to The
Press. The Fourth Estate’s role in securing the
sanctity of The Republic seems more in peril than
ever before.

By Uncle Chuck (Unclechuck) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 11:09 pm:

LOL J.T. I enjoy your sense of humor. You all know Im not shootin a deer, lol. Just a good reason to mix in the Keweenaw with some work. Gonna find myself a big tree to sleep against and hope Marty doesn't shoot himself in the foot or me! I do however, enjoy seeing the sights as we cruise thru the woods and take in the beauty of Lake Superior. It will be a great trip as long as Marty doesn't get us stuck 18 miles in from the main road. We will avoid all beaver ponds/dams as well!

By kay Moore (Mskatie) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 11:39 pm:

Uncle Chuck it sounds to me you guys are a bunch of fellows that use hunting as an excuse to do a ' guys thing', in the great UP woods. I envy you that.

By Uncle Chuck (Unclechuck) on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 11:54 pm:

Kay your right! But it's just Marty and me these days, with L.B. gone, and G.N. passed on, and everyone else working, it's just us 2, but we still have are fun. Want to meet us in Lac La Belle for dinner? My treat, lol Or, you can ride shotgun with Marty and me while 4 wheelin, just remember to fasten your seatbelt- Marty gets a little crazy!
Good night.
