November has come and is gone after today, so in keeping with our long-standing tradition, we pause here today and reflect on family and friends that have left too soon. We remember:

Remembering a great friend, Glenwood Young, who served his community and his Lord well. He went home a week ago today, much too soon, and is rejoicing with his friends & family even now.

Remembering with deep love my husband Bob, who passed away 14 years ago, and also his best buddy Byron Muljo who passed away one year ago on the same day as Bob. Byron was the creator and builder of the Snow Thermometer that we all check out every winter.

my grandparents, my parents and my two (2) brothers, who both left this life wayyyy to young. i miss you all.

Remembering my Dad, the best Dad I could have ever had, and our Doberman Pinscher, Lucky, who never was the typical stereotype of the breed.

Always remembering my husband and best friend, Frank Richard Waggoner. Just writing his name brings the ever present tears.

Remembering my Mom, Dolores Paquette, who passed 30
years ago this month. I see you every day when I
look in the mirror, wishing you were here but
knowing you are here with me in spirit.

Remembering our parents Norman and Helen Pooley, Ed and Sophie Kuusisto, Aunt Lyle Pooley, our sister in law and dear friend Phyllis Kuusisto, Karen Kuusisto, Janet Trasti, our good buddy Nitz Kumpula, our nephew “The Chief” Churchill, our sweet niece Rosie Churchill, Our niece Bailey Hartmann, our brother in law and friend Wayne Hartmann our sister and best friend Flo Hartmann and our dear sweet baby girl Annie Kuusisto.
We love and miss you all so much.

Remembering George Watts, dear brother, who passed away on Veterans Day. November 11th, 1997.
He was a veteran, for the veterans and did all he could to help the veterans. He is sorely missed He took over the family at the age of 18 when Dad died suddenly when he was just 46. He kept us together and was like a second father to me. I will be forever thankful.

Remembering my mom, Elizabeth(no one called her that)Betty Rogers who passed away 12 years ago Nov. 13th. Wish I had asked more questions when I had the chance.

Remembering Leslie, who left us five years ago this month. Can't believe that much time has passed already. Miss you, babe.

Remembering the crew who died when the SS Daniel Morrell went down in Lake Huron on November 29, 1966.

Remembering our dear step-dad Robert Lee Smith of Clinton Twp. MI who left us this very day 11/30/99. Missing his very helpful electrical & technical tips & help over the years.

Also can't forget our beautiful yellow Lab 'Patty Ann' of only 10 years who left us last year in November

20. Premature at age 59. RIP my brother!

Remembering my grandfather, who passed away in 1983 on Veteran's Day. Also remembering 2 of my uncles who passed away in November of 2009.

My thoughts are with all of you. I usually just
visit to see the beautiful pictures and bask in the
polite, friendly company, but your messages made me
want to re-register (new name since I couldn't
remember my old password)to wish you peace and warm
memories this holiday season.

Remebering Laura Anderson. Laura and her husband Jake own and operate the 7th Street Gas Station and Bear Den Cabin in Copper Harbor. You won't find any better people. Their hospitality and friendship have made for some of the happiest times my wife and I have ever experienced in our many stays in Copper Harbor.
