We've had some snow in various places here UP North, some that's come and gone again and that usually signals the unofficial ending of fall here. Brenda Leigh was out on the shores of Lake Superior, near Brimley and Sault Ste. Marie, where Pendill's Creek meets up with the Big Lake and reports that fall is floating to an end there, with hundreds of leaves filling the shoreline waters and washing up and back out with the waves. She said there was an amazing amount of leaves there in the water, as they make there way back to the ground and into the soil once more, to continue the cycle of nature that each of our beautiful seasons bring.

Water colors and nature's way of raking the leaves...very nice!

Those are really pretty pictures, Brenda. On the road again, eh?
At first I thought there might be a photo of Janie's doggie, "Brimley".;) Didn't know there was a town by that name UP there.

Hi
It's always nice to see shots through the clear water of Lake Superior. The remark about how nature rakes leaves made me smile. I bet my mom would have enjoyed having her leaves washed away, instead of having to hire 2 guys with rakes.

Shirley, I discovered the town Brimley after we got our Brimley. Brimley was actually named after Wilford Brimley, since Scottish Terriers have the same bushy eyebrows as Wilford does!

The bushy eyebrows, that's funny, Janie. BTW, Wilford was my husband's favorite actor.
