In for a beautiful fall day today and feeling very Blessed our hay field is giving us one more cutting and the weather cooperating! Amen!

We've got rain this morning, but at least it's warmer than this past weekend. My 'druthers' would be 50s at night and 70s during the day....all year.:>

Walked the trails today, I could smell Autumn in the air. Instead of looking down while I was walking, I finally looked up. What a beautiful sight I saw. The skies were a deep blue, the trees were bursting with color and the clouds were puffy bits of cotton. The Crows, Bluejays, Chick-a-dees and Woodpeckers were flying all over. I love fall.

Enjoy what you do, just look up instead of down.

Glad you finally saw some color today, Pinetreegirl. Aside from the beauty of the trees, some of my all-time favorite sights are the goldenrod in bloom. And my favorite sound this time of year is from the crows....especially if there's a cornfield nearby. These always say 'Autumn' to me.

Funny, I always thought crows sounded like "koww, koww"???

THANK YOU VERY MUCH EVERYONE, I REALLY APPRECIATE THE SUPPORT FOR MY SON NATE, AND I KNOW HE DOES AS WELL. NATE IS A SENIOR AT GVSU (Nate loves the Keweenaw too but chose GVSU, he does wear his "It's a Finn thing" shirt when he performs, sometimes) is a double major in Finance/Economics with a 3.5 GPA, and Hip Hop/Rap is his love. He writes all his own lyrics and mix's his own beat and sometime will write all the music as well.
He didn't want to follow the old man to NMU Jbuck, or his uncle Mike to MTU Capt., he wanted to make his own road, and I respect that!
Big thanks to sister Norma for her help here & on FB, she's a big fan of Nate's!
