Today is all about taking the time to give thanks for the abundance in our lives and that doesn't mean only dollar-wise wealth, but the small blessings too. Like the little hands that created this window art in Brita Haapala's home, the simple beauty of the rising sun, captured by Nate Alwine, or the flowing grandeur of a river in the woods, where Ashley Byykkonen found tranquil peace. Riches all around the U.P. and the world can be found in so many places. We sometimes just need a reminder to look for them!

Happy Thanksgiving from everyone here at Pasty Central!

Happy Turkey Day everyone. I'm one of the lucky ones who gets to work today, helping to keep the buildings in Downtown Detroit warm and cozy. Bundle up everyone, cuz "Baby, it's cold outside"!!

Beautiful pictures today. Makes even ME look forward to winter and snow. (Here in the southern part of Sweden we still got no snow!!)

Happy Thanksgiving to EVERYONE!!!!!

We all have something to be thankful for...
"Count your blessings, name them one by one..."

I miss Thanksgiving - we don't celebrate it here, like it's done in the USA.
Hugs to all!!! :-)

By Lulubelle/Hancock (Lulubelle) on Thursday, November 24, 2005 - 06:41 pm:

We are all stuffed here like our turkey was earlier. So much fun having the kids and grandkids home for the holidays. They don't have to travel far--one down the street and two families from Laurium. Miss the ones that live downstate though. We are so thankful to have family to get together with.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. We love the pictures today.

By Thomas Baird (Thomas) on Sunday, September 20, 2009 - 09:12 pm:

Beautiful pictures. Reminds me of Thanksgiving 2008 when we had a white one in my neck of the woods.
