Good morning/afternoon. Hope everyone has a fantastic and safe weekend. Change of plans for jet skiing today, due to the rain...headed out tomorrow when the skies are supposed to be blue and the temps will be over 100 degrees.

Hubby and I found a gold mine today. While going through one of our closets, we found the home movies hubby's parents made while camping up in the UP, back in the 50's and 60's. Sat back on the sofa and enjoyed seeing how Lake Gogebic looked back in the day...along with State Line, MI/Presque Isle WI.

Is it as hot in Lodi as it is here in San Jose. We are baking over here. There is no breeze of any kind...it is so still...if I was superstitious I would say it was earthquake weather.

Hi Beverly, It is very hot and still in Lodi, and in the Sierra foothills. As I say "It's Africa hot!" I still can't get over that phrase out here, "It's earthquake weather." Used to hearing "It's tornado weather." I'm in the middle of the peach pack as we speak. Take care!

Wish it had been snow skis that we got out today.
Temps at the lake were 102 by mid afternoon..which wasn't bad if you were in the water. I spent most of the day in my lounge chair...which I had put right into the water...and kicked back with a great book. Now that's what I call living.
Waiting patiently for pool number two to be delivered this week. Pool number one fell victim to a few firecrackers that the neighbors set off.
