Graduations and celebration parties have been happening in the U.P. and elsewhere for several weeks now, with the area schools holding their ceremonies on various dates and times. Patty Rheault spotted this busy poika trying to stuff a large number of colorful ilmapallo into Mom and Dad's ride! At least he made it from the party goings on, all the way out to the truck without being lifted away by them or accidentally letting them go! Like a burst of fireworks - - minus the bangs and crackles of course. Nice way to celebrate the successes of all of our U.P. graduates, as their high school days draw to a close. Congratulations Grads!

If you're looking for an early way to celebrate July festivities, plan to show up at Pasty Fest 2005, taking place on July 2nd , in Calumet (just three weeks from today!). I've been told there will be a parade, Children's games, a Pasty Bake-Off competition, live music and free pasties for the first 400 to arrive at Aggasiz Park with the Pasty Central coupon from the Mining Gazette. Sounds like a fun time for all ages!

Congradulations to all graduates. Hey, the balloons look like the colors for the university of Notre Dame. Go Irish!

I'm betting that it's a party for a graduate of Lake Linden High School. I was a "Whiz Kid" ('71) and I recognize those colors!

Our Texas kids are all out, partied, tripped and back at summer jobs. But none have the Irish colors, or the fight song.

Hey that's my picture! Yes its Lake Linden, our youngest graduated with honors! The little guy was the life of the party and so fired up about getting all the balloons, had them in his bedroom for many days!

Good old Lake Linden Hubbell High School!! I was at the graduation this year, and so was Pasty's Mary Drew! She did the grand finale speech, which she was gracious enough to post on the What's Up: https://www.pasty.com/discus/messages/713/1173.html?SaturdayMay2820051108pm

It was just a beautiful ceremony!

Congratulations to all the graduates everywhere! May your paths be abundantly blessed!

Reminds me of the time Cassie Gregorich and Frank Hall stole the big helium filled ballon from Calumet's 4th celebration and ran it up over The Drift Inn in Copper City.

Congrats to all the grads. We are having a party for our
youngest also. This makes it VERYspecial for me as I
survived 5 surgeries since October. I am happy to be
able to be here. Your messages have been my
blessings this year as well. May god bless you all.
