Looks like Capt.Paul got some much-needed rain down in TX. Hope they're doing well.

Happy Birthday to Jon!!

What wonderful colors this morning!! I love all of these shots, but of course, Joyce's cat wins it for me. Love her animals!!

Have the day off due to Columbus Day. Getting ready to go and pick up my little granddaughter to spend the day with her. Should be fun, but missing the UP already.

Have a wonderful day, everybody!

Speaking of the weather forecast ... can anyone tell me if there were high winds around the Michigamme area on Saturday or Sunday? I don't know how to look up past weather, and unfortunately I wasn't up there. Thanks in advance!

Actually, we are in Minneapolis at the moment but we did hear about the rain. From what I heard, they got about 4 inches of rain which is great. We are up at the GSA Conference right now but are leaving early Wednesday morning and heading to the Keweenaw for a couple days to see what is left of the autumn colours before we have to head back south.....

Diana --

You can view past weather for almost any location on the Weather Underground site (www.wunderground.com). Look up the forecast for your chosen location, then scroll down until you find History & Almanac , then enter the date you're interested in.

On Saturday, winds at Michigamme were in the 15-20 mph range, with gusts in the 25-30 mph range.
