I like the horses show picture. Our daughter after a 13 yr. break is back at the horse shows with my miniature horses. Good times!

I loved this year's picture, the colors of summer, and the Queen in Copper Harbor. Those 3 just grabbed me. I wonder if the colors of summer was taken on Mackinac Island. The kayaking, train and rabbit pictures were good too. Oh heck, they were all good, lol!!

The train picture is pretty neat too!

I remember my Grandma telling us the story of the first time her mother rode in a car....it was one of those old open ones like in the review today, they had her sitting in the back, and when they got home..someone asked her what she thought...her reply "It be awful vindy"...

Now there's a thought provoking question. It reminds me about the two trains moving towards each other at the same speed and a man walks between them after closing down the local bar. How long will it take the ambulance to get there?

Nice pics, by the way!

Twice as far as half way, time wise.

The Dr. and I completed our drive through Ontonagon and the Porkies today, and we couldn't have asked for better weather. Many of the sites I didn't recognise as it had been 20-25 years since I was last there and trees have this habit of growing..... We also saw a group of loons and didn't see it but heard one that was quite loud. Currently, I'm writing this from the Ambassador, enjoying a refreshing beverage and getting a tostada pizza. Tomorrow is dedication of the new Mineral Museum and dinner with another PastyCammer.

I know what you mean about the loon, Capt!! They can be that way.
