Patty Rheault had her grandkids out running free in their hay fields recently and snapped some pictures of the fun to share. The top photo is my favorite, showing two little cousins helping each other on their way...kind of reminds me of the acronym you hear and see young folks use so much now-a-days - BFF (best friends forever). In the second photo, you can see how tall the grasses are in that field, with one of them as tall as Patty's pretty little blonde granddaughter. Then the two little tikes get to run free in the last photo, proving that Grandma Patty is a smart one...letting them run off all that energy, so they can all three go back and take a nap! :->

The Children

Beautiful photos, and I like your idea, Pat and Glenda. Does anyone recognize the yellow flowers in the field? "I assure you not even Solomon in all his glory was decked as these."

These children are blessed to have all that open space and fresh air. Mostly they are blessed to have a Grandmother who will spend time with them! I encourage everyone to get a child and put some time into them. It can change their lives.

The top photo is an award winning one!! Beautiful job Patty. What wonderful memories captured.

Mary what a great story as well. You certainly are an asset to this site. When I am not able to connect to pasty.com I SURE DO MISS the wonderful photos and stories.

Hope everyone had a safe and fun July 4th.

What a great set of photos to capture a very precious moment. At least some of the pretty yellow flowers appear to be Taraxacum officinale. (Also known as Dandy Lions.)

As a friend of mine said when I ran into her in the store not too long ago, "Grandkids are just the best thing since animal crackers!" Oh, yes, they are!

I think those are yellow hawkweed . I think the dandy lions came
earlier this year and are done blooming.
