We recently had some special times with our entire family together, for the first time in over a year. Almost every waking minute was spent at our farm, where the little AND big kids had a blast driving all sorts of vehicles. The first two kids are Alex and Nicole, who both enjoyed their driving experiences. That shot was snapped as Alex showed Nicole the basics of driving here in the Copper Country, versus the freeways of California.

Then Zavier hopped on board, once Papa (Jim) had backed his set of wheels ('52 Ford) out of the garage. After warming it up, Jim took to the open road to see what she could do! And finally, a shot of the big kids on the four wheeler, heading off in search of some mud holes to challenge the power of the Rzr. What's the saying?.. the only difference between men and boys, is the price of their toys :->

WOW....GREAT pics Grandma! And I love Jim's truck! (Sorta reminds me of Farmer's old red one around the corner!)

Don't forget to vote...we are closing in on the end of voting, and we still need to take first! Hammer the votes! Thank you!

Nice looking pickup there! Since 1975 Bob and I are serious motorheads and have owned some where around 165 various makes of classic or high performance cars, but never had an old truck. Maybe we should be thinking about changing that after seeing Jim's!

The Yellow Ford looks to be a fun ride, though they were a bit short on headroom back then if I remember right.

This is the latest, looks like a slow Monday. I can try to do this daily if you'd like.

Mary, great photos of your grandchildren! Isn't it great being a grandparent? I find myself doing the same things that my parents did for my boys. My son and his wife give me the same looks that I gave my parents when they over indulged them with goodies etc. Now I understand why my parents behaved the way they did, and they will understand when they are grandparents. Have a great day everyone!

I gotta admit, I am really getting into this whole Humane Society
Challenge. It is a great cause and for some reason I am really
feeling very competitive about the whole thing.

Remember, you can vote once each day using each browser you have on every computer you have access to! If you have both Microsoft Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers, and perhaps Google Chrome or perhaps others, use 'em all!

If you want to be a bit more enthusiastic, you can clear your "cookies" in each browser, and do it vote again, etc. etc.

It's time for a maximum effort to get out the vote!

Omygosh, I did that? "… and do it vote again, …". Gettin' careless about proofreadin' I guess. And too late to sneak in a "fix", 'cuz I'm past the edit window! {grin}

By Donna (Donna) on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 - 05:28 pm:

NO...please don't do the "cookie method" of voting...I have heard if they find that...you are disqualified, and I don't know if they mean THAT voter, or the entire CCHS...

"It's better to be safe than sorry!"

Thanks!

I LOVE the pictures today. Your farm must be a real haven! I think Jim has one cool truck there!

Really!?
1. I have to wonder where you heard that.
2. Now you tell us! (And that method certainly has been suggested before, without comment, or I probably wouldn't have repeated the suggestion. For what it's worth, I have not used that method.)

Ahhh well, as you said, "Better safe than sorry"! {smile}
