2004

Good answer to a very subjective question. Like: I am thinking of a number from 1 to 10...

By John W Anderson (Wd8rth) on Friday, January 22, 2010 - 08:06 am:

Hard to say, Fresh snow or snow on the ground,
2004 has the most fresh snow. 2008 had a good
cover. They all are white

By Capt. Paul (Eclogite) on Friday, January 22, 2010 - 08:07 am:

That's debateable, Charlie. Are you talking depth, amount of area covered in photo, or something else??

Clarification would be appreciated, but I would say the "most" would be 2007 since the entire photo has snow in it.

what instrument is playing the background music, my daughter and i are trying to figure it out.. i say a flute of some sort, she says a violin or chello

By Deb L. (Lakegirl) on Friday, January 22, 2010 - 08:54 am:

I spied the ever handy Yooper Scooper--may need that by the end of this weekend. I hope this storm coming is a snow event and not an ice event they (Weather forecasters) think it will be. Have a great weekend everyone!!

By john mich (Johnofmi) on Friday, January 22, 2010 - 08:57 am:

You are both correct. Flute accompanied by violin and cello.

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Friday, January 22, 2010 - 09:12 am:

Deb L...I hope you get the snow storm instead of the ice. Since wednesday our ice storm has caused many problems, power outages, car pile ups, (good for our body shops tho), just plenty of headaches right now. P.S. I love and often visit your city Duluth!

Hey I know it was posted on the "basketbal" photos, cam notes thing, but wanted to give a heads up over here--Lily the Bear has given birth. (According to TV and Tribune--Duluth) The site has been down/crashed for most of the morning, try again later.

www.bear.org Enjoy when you can.

Looks like Lily had possibly two cubs. So glad she's protected, don't like bear hunting UP here. Deer, now that's different.
