A little more work for the Early Bird this morning...

Who is the photographer of the opening scene in today's Day in History?

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Thursday, October 29, 2009 - 07:32 am:

Good morning! That would be John W. Anderson!

Have a great day!

Deb,

You would have had it solo, but you were nice and put the 'good morning' and 'have a great day' notes on the answer too!

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Thursday, October 29, 2009 - 08:32 am:

Well, Charlie always makes a comment when you only post the answer so I try to make sure I say something to everybody! Plus my Username and Password weren't listed so I had to backtrack and put them back in before it would let me post. I hate it when that happens. Thought for sure it would make me very late. Was pleasantly surprised when it didn't!

Again, have a great day everybody! I'm off to work!

Not to toot my own horn, But I think the second picture from 2007 is the better of the two.
Charlie, is there is a way to post it?? Thanks

Love the pics with the natural beauty. Also, I've noticed in recent years how people are putting up outdoor lights 4 other times in addition to Christmas, such as the decorations that include lights in the 2000 photo.

The good looking young man in the "2004" picture is one of the many, many,Stukels, the good looking one is Sebastian and the other one is his dad Jerald (Duff) Stukel.

I put lights up each month. Red and white for valentines, green for March.. red and green jalopenoes for May. Yellow bees for June. Red White and blue for July. Multi colored paper lanterns in greens, blues, and purples for August and of course pastel egg lights for Easter time. January, I put up my frosted blue ones for old man winter and in November I got some nice orange and yellow ones that look like candy corn for Thanksgiving. Lights aren't just for Christmas anymore.

By Thomas Baird (Thomas) on Thursday, October 29, 2009 - 08:55 pm:

Are those candy corn lights half orange and half yellow? Earlier this month we had those kind of lights 4 sale in the supermarket where I work.

By Theresa R. Brunk (Trb0013) on Thursday, October 29, 2009 - 09:46 pm:

Yes, Thom they are!! I got them a few years ago at Walgreens. I twisted them with autuum leaf foil garland and they look awesome with my door wreath with lil pumpkins and a partridge. LOL I love holidays. :-)
