Happy Friday before a long weekend! Woo hoo! And nice weather to boot! All is right with the world (except the price of gas...but you can't have everything).

It's rather ironic that I just receieved a "forward" from a friend about the old fashioned clothesline. And here is a photo of one in the "What's Up". Though the clothesline is still thriving here in the midwest. Lots of stories could be told regarding them. My favorite memory is of me counting 96 socks I hung out one time when the kids were young. Of course with 6 kids and a husband it added up quickly and they must have all been down to their last pair each! :o>)

I'll be kicking off my holiday weekend with the birth of a new grandson (Clark)! My daughter goes in to be induced tonight, and the baby will most likely be born Saturday. That means that all 3 of her kids have been born on the 24th of a month. So at least I'll be sure to remember the birthdays of 3 of my 15 grandkids! We'll be having the 16-month-old overnight and she will NOT be happy about that! She sticks to her mom like glue!

Bobg, Was just at Wal Mart this morning, when we got there it was $4.04 and 30 minutes later as we left it was 4.08.

Looks like we are all looking forward to the weekend.

Have only been able to use the clothes line a couple times since the weather has not been real cooperative.

My 10th grade daughter, who is in the color guard of the Waverly High School marching band in Lansing, is heading to Washington DC tonight. The band has been invited to march in a parade in Washington DC and also be on the Capitol lawn for the Memorial Day concert. They should have super weather.

occupied for quite some time. Congratulations on being a
grandma again.

Cindy: How exciting for you daughter. Just going to Washington,
D.C. on our senior trip was such a treat, I can't even imagine what a
thrill it would be to play on the lawn of the Capitol.
