Eight years ago we saw signs from another U.P. town, the one we saw from the air yesterday, Ontonagon.

Deb and Mr. Deb--Your PastyCam friends are thinking of you and
your son.

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 - 06:43 am:

Good Morning, Everyone! Those signs almost look like they are made of cardboard, the way they are flexing?

Deb, Mr Deb, and son--my thoughts and prayers are with you all, all day long. I hope everything goes even better than expected!

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 - 07:02 am:

Those trail signs are pretty fancy for what usually are used and seen!

By Margaret, Amarillo TX (Margaret) on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 - 07:35 am:

All these instructions and so hard to choose which one.

By Dale Beitz (Dbeitz) on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 - 08:28 am:

Probably not cardboard signs, more likely metal signs bent by snow thrown from the snowplow.

By Marsha, Genesee/Aura (Marsha) on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 - 08:30 am:

Those signs are probably bent because of years of snowplow damage! They should put them top to bottom in order of priority, since sometimes you probably can't see the bottom ones.

I bought a new digital camera this weekend, 12x zoom! Now if I could only find a moose on my moosehunts. My old camera was misbehaving, even with a new battery. The green light would come on, but then go to red and stay red. Also got a new cell phone with my new every two deal. So now I have to learn how to take pictures with that.

By Mary Drew at Pasty Central (Mdrew) on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 - 10:42 am:

I just received a message from Deb, which she asked me to post for her. If you haven't already done so, take a moment to say a prayer for them all:

Just a note to let you know that Ryan's been in the operating room for about an hour and a half now, but they just started the procedure about 10 minutes ago. They said that so far everything was going fine. Since there's about 4 more hours to go, that's not very comforting but I'll take anything I can get. He was in good spirits when he went in because Mike came down and kept everybody in stitches. Thank God for him.

Thanks,
Deb

Deb, my thoughts and prayers continue to be with you, Mr Deb, and your son. Going into it in good spirits will help a lot, actually, so if Mike contributed to that, that's terrific! We are continuing to pray for you all! Take care!

By Cheryl Rozman (Cotton) on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 - 12:37 pm:

Deb & Ron, I'll be thinking of you & your son & praying that he will be a much healthier young man after this procedure is done. We will all be waiting for the news that Rhyan has come through a successful surgery.

By Daveofmohawk (Daveofmohawk) on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 - 12:59 pm:

Under the money section of today's MSN page there's a story titled "employers take crash victim's cash", everyone who shops at big box mart needs to read this story.

By Mary Drew at Pasty Central (Mdrew) on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 - 02:27 pm:

An update on Deb and Mr. Deb's son Ryan from about 45 minutes ago:

We're in the surgical waiting room and have just been informed that Ryan has
been taken off of the heart/lung machine and his heart is beating on its own
with its new mechanical valve. Hallelujah!! He's still in surgery to watch for
bleeding before they close him up, but so far, so good. He's definitely not out
of the woods (won't be for quite a while), but at least it looks good right now.

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 - 02:33 pm:

I know that Deb was worried about his heart restarting on its own, so that is one hurdle passed! We'll keep praying, and this will work out very well, and Ryan will be a much healthier young man, soon, than he has been for some time!

By kosk in Toronto (Koskintoronto) on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 - 05:59 pm:

Mary : Thanks for the updates from Deb and Mr. Deb. I was
thinking about the two of them and Ryan throughout the day.

I'll bet everyone is exhausted.

By Laurie B. (Ratherberiding) on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 - 07:24 pm:

Thanks for the help with the Finnish translating sites. I should have posted that question on this page but wasn't thinking. It wasn't for me. Trying to help someone else.
