Deb--

I love pictures of old churches too.

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Friday, January 12, 2007 - 07:23 am:

Dean, When are you going to tell us where this church is? Is it Ahmeek?

By Smfwixom (Trollperson) on Friday, January 12, 2007 - 07:27 am:

Go to this week in years past and you'll get your answer.

By Marsha, Genesee/Aura (Marsha) on Friday, January 12, 2007 - 08:31 am:

Have any of you heard about the two albino moose near Marenisco? My friend, Tracey, from bctra emailed me the picture yesterday. How exciting! I don't know how to post a picture here, but you can Google white moose + Michigan and find it easily. It's exciting enough to see and/or photograph a "regular" moose!

By CAL, Oshkosh WI (Cal) on Friday, January 12, 2007 - 09:21 am:

Marsha, I found the picture of white moose on the NMB site, but someone had replied: Check out http://www.mdwfp.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=18929 - it appears the picture may have originated in Alaska.

If you google just "white moose", you will find sightings of them in several different places, including Norway.

By Gonna be a Yooper (Joanie) on Friday, January 12, 2007 - 12:48 pm:

Tom, it's raining, damp, dreary and foggy. Typical Count Dracula weather. Sunday's forecast is for cold and snow. Where do you live now?

By Gonna be a Yooper (Joanie) on Friday, January 12, 2007 - 02:14 pm:

Speaking of moose, do you know why they have such big antlers? For better radio reception - - - they're MOOSIC lovers.

Good Evening... I like picture's of Church's also.Hard to find a Luthern Church around here.I just may be the only Finlander around these parts.Every where you go are Baptist Church's

By Ms. Katie (Mskatie) on Friday, January 12, 2007 - 10:07 pm:

You can tell you live in the south, David. I just know there's a Baptist church on every block down in Texas.I'll bet 90% of all churches are Baptist. Every size from storefront to mammoth!

By kosk in Toronto (Koskintoronto) on Friday, January 12, 2007 - 10:22 pm:

Davidcorrytontn--Lutheran churches are hard to find in the South
though our family did manage to find one on in Nag's Head in the
Outer Banks of North Carolina. Even here in the Toronto area there
aren't that many. We hunted around though and found a
neighborhood within walking distance (about a mile) of one and
have been going for the past thirty years. Lovely as my Toronto
church is, it doesn't have the charm of today's picture.

By Fran in GA (Francesinga) on Friday, January 12, 2007 - 11:30 pm:

Yup, Baptist churches abound in the Chattanooga-N.Ga area. there is a pretty big Lutheran Church and school in East Ridge,Tn which is about 2 miles from me. Dave there are some Finns around this area. In fact there is one who lives just outside of our subdivision.
