MAKE NEW FRIENDS BUT KEEP THE OLD;
ONE IS SILVER AND THE OTHER GOLD.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO MY NEW AND OLD FRIENDS!!!

MAY 2007 BRING THE BEST TO ALL OF YOU!!

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Sunday, December 31, 2006 - 02:43 pm:

maija, you've hit the nail on the head today. Our country is badly in need of change. Let's hope that happens and our soldiers who are giving their lives, while fighting to make Iraq free, will soon be joining us. And this goes to the families of the men and women who are fighting over there. May you all have a Happy New Year when your loved ones come home safe. Kosk, thinking about you. I hope your son comes home soon, along with the rest of them.

By Cotton (Cotton) on Sunday, December 31, 2006 - 03:17 pm:

Lest we forget that justice was rewarded to the people of Iraq by the death of Saddam Hussein, the evil dictator of Iraq & the murderer of so many innocent people. May he have received his just punishment after his death.

By Danielle Adams (Badkid) on Sunday, December 31, 2006 - 03:23 pm:

Good afternoon ya'll!!

I hope everyone is having a happy and safe New Year's eve. Despite the weather that is. My yard is becoming a lake lol Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year, may 2007 bring happiness and peace to all.

By Gonna be a Yooper (Joanie) on Sunday, December 31, 2006 - 04:24 pm:

Hey Yoopers, Lions 39, Cowboys 31 and it was a great game!!!

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Sunday, December 31, 2006 - 05:00 pm:

Joanie, Any other time that would have been great. All they had to do was lose and they were assured of the #1 draft pick. I swear, they can do nothing right.

By Gonna be a Yooper (Joanie) on Sunday, December 31, 2006 - 05:08 pm:

Finally decided on what my New Year's resolution was going to be for 2007;

I'm not gonna do anything that's good for me 'cause it sure ain't no fun.

I'm gonna do everything that's bad for me 'cause my bad side done won!

Ahhhhh, 2007 sure is gonna be a good year!

Good advice, Joanie, you are a dear!

Sure hope everyone has a Happy New Year!

By kosk in Toronto (Koskintoronto) on Sunday, December 31, 2006 - 05:16 pm:

Thanks Deb! While we were in the UP, we had breakfast at Buck's in
Ishpeming. As we were gathered around the table, my husband's
cell phone rang. It was our son calling from Iraq. The phone was
passed around the table. The waitress passed the word on from
other patrons--"Tell your son that Buck's says to stay safe."
Yes, small town life in the UP. Guess he'll have to wait awhile
before he can order a #1 breakfast at Buck's or have a pizza at the
Congress.

Happy New Year to all of the Pasty Cam Family.

By Gonna be a Yooper (Joanie) on Sunday, December 31, 2006 - 05:36 pm:

Kosk, God keep your son safe. My thoughts and prayers are with him.

By Gonna be a Yooper (Joanie) on Sunday, December 31, 2006 - 05:39 pm:

Mr. Deb, I should be a Detroit Lion, I can't do anything right either. (sigh), Didn't know that. It was still a good game.

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Sunday, December 31, 2006 - 05:54 pm:

Joanie, Wasn't Mr. Deb, just Deb. I watch football too. And you do plenty right. But you should be a Detroit fan. Don't know why I still love 'em, but I do.

Kosk, So glad you heard from your son. That must have been a wonderful New Year's gift for you. I'll continue to pray for him and all of our soldiers who are in harm's way. Safe trip back to Toronto.

By Gonna be a Yooper (Joanie) on Sunday, December 31, 2006 - 05:59 pm:

Wow Deb, you are my kinda girl!! Got the truck started we're headin' nort!
I'm gonna change my ways and be a Detroit fan, gonna have to if I move up dere. They look better dan da Bears!

By Danielle Adams (Badkid) on Sunday, December 31, 2006 - 09:53 pm:

awww football talk.....well since i am not...yes not a lions fan i can't say anything about them as i am a diehard packers fan :) halftime packers 23 chicago 0 ....awww gotta love this new years eve.

oh yeah speaking of sports....detroit red wings won 6-2 over l.a. kings at the joe. yeah baby!

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Sunday, December 31, 2006 - 10:50 pm:

Go Wings! And go Wolverines tomorrow over USC. They should be in the championship game but the powers that be didn't want to see a rematch. Whatever! Go Michigan! Go Ohio State too! This way, hopefully, the top 2 Big Ten teams can finish 1 & 2 when they both win their bowl games.

By Danielle Adams (Badkid) on Sunday, December 31, 2006 - 11:04 pm:

wooohooo packers win!!! the pack 26 bears 7.....sorry chicago fans, the pack still kicks butt! what a way to end the new year with a great win.
