It's the second week of deer camp; gather round the truck and we'll plan our strategy. These unsuspecting hunters become the hunted, as Debra McCumber sneaks up on them, aims her camera and gets a good shot. With the sun shining so brightly, it sure looks like a good day to be out in the woods, but I bet it gets a bit warm in the usual orange quilted hunting garb. Debra's second shot gives her bragging rights at the hunting camp, since she bagged herself a six pointer - a Yooper deer!

You can't win. It's either too cold or too warm. No happy medium it seems.

Its not just the UP. The temp and clear skies prevailed across the country as I am driving through southern Ga. It was only 12 degrees warmer at Palm Beach last night than it was at Houghton airport.

Now that's a good looking BUCK!

Great Pictures. I noticed in your Gallery that it said Muskegon State Park and started looking through your pictures. I live in Twin Lake. Are the Pictures of setback night in Holton?
