Nancy Haun and her hubby, Jim are big advocates for animals, so all winter long they help the deer herd in the Skanee area by buying large round bales of hay for them to eat. Today’s first photo shows the happy deer enjoying the treat.

Her second photo is an eagle she spotted outside her kitchen window and captured the scene, complete with snowflakes falling. Nancy figures it was perched there in the tree checking out the turkeys in her yard.
That bottom photo is their barn on the Haunderosa...I love that name for their place and that barn is really a beauty, such a peaceful winter scene.

Today’s video is pretty neat! This is how Nancy’s hubby, Jim unloads the big round bale from the bed of his truck. Quite ingenious, if you ask me and I love Nancy’s cheering and excitement! Her commentary is always the best in her videos.

Thank you, Nancy. That's wonderful! And these
pictures are awesome. How I love seeing the beauty
of winter with some color in it. I love the eagle
picture.

Nancy and Jim are wonderful people. Nancy does
great videos. I feel as though I know them even
though we have never met or spoken.

I’m becoming a big
fan of Nancy!!!
She’s always doing
something good, be
it train spotting or
helping the wildlife.
But, where’s Hoss
and Little Joe?

Those big bales are a wonderful way to feed. When I
fed big bales I used the big tractor with a bale
fork on the front. A friend of mine has hilly
pastures, He places the big bale at the top of a
hill, cuts the baling twine and nudges the bale
down the hill and it lays a perfect path of hay.

Hi
Looks like plenty of snow up there. What is in the
barn? Do the Hauns have their own animals to feed?
