Thanks to Debbie Jarve we have a sort of bouquet here on the Pasty Cam today. I’m pretty sure the first two photos are cherry blossoms and that tree seems to be loaded with them. So pretty! I bet they smell good, too.

Then Debbie snapped some Forget Me Nots. One of my favorite flowers and just so small and dainty looking. The bottom photo is the old reliable daisy! Quite a nice grouping of them, too. It’s so wonderful to be seeing flowers and trees blooming once again!

Today we’re joining Alexis Dahl at one of the most promising mines in America. Her lead-in to the video says: “600 feet underground, is a place almost no one has stepped foot in in more than 100 years. Let's go see what's down there.
Special thanks to... Matt Portfleet at the Adventure Mine, both for the tour and for supplying multiple pieces of reading about the site! I went backwards through one of the tour routes, and found it incredibly cool.

Full credit for the LiDAR video featured at the end of the video: Daniel Trepal (Michigan Tech Industrial Heritage and Archaeology Program; MTU Geospatial Research Facility), Grace Griffin (MTU), Matt Portfleet (Adventure Mine). Funded by Michigan Technological University’s Research Excellence Fund.”

Beautiful flowers, especially the cherry blossoms.

Oh I've been seeing cherry blossoms
and apple blossoms and little daisies.
What a wonderful time of year. Very
nice pictures.

Oh yes, bring on the flowers, and the Spring
Flowers are so wonderful..they bring us to such
beauty!! Lily of the Valley is out too...and boy,
just sniffing one brings me back my Gram. She had
them growing down the side of her home. I love how
something so simple brings such great joy!!

I lived in a place with an old apple orchard in
the back yard. Everyday, I went walking back
there. You only smelled perfume...no "plain
air"....it was so incredibly beautiful!!! I miss
that!

You'll never go wrong with an Alexis Vid! She does
the coolest things.
