Fred from Fred Koski Photography, was out and about in the Three Lakes area recently. He captured a beautiful shot of a Bald Eagle perched in a tree, surveying the surroundings and I’m sure looking for his next dinner. We had a couple Eagles around our farm lately and I was quite surprised to see the seagulls pestering them, even chasing after them in the air. I would have thought the Eagle would be the aggressor and not so easily chased off while flying around.

Fred’s other two shots were taken after the recent snowfall had covered the trees, almost looking like they were frosted. So pretty and the best part is that by the afternoon, the sunshine had come out and it had warmed UP enough to melt most of that snow from the trees. Spring can’t be far off, I hope.

Today’s video follows an Eagle with some good shots of it in action. There isn’t much sound, but if you turn your speakers up, you can hear the birds in the background.
