A visit to the Bishop Baraga Shrine on Keweenaw Bay is an experience during any season, but add in the colors of fall and it becomes outstanding. Our first photo was snapped by Jean Dessellier this past week, with the leaves at their peak. The second and third shots were taken by Nancy Haun. That’s Bishop Baraga peeking out from the top of those colorful trees a few weeks ago. Then Nancy captured the sunset coloring the sky, before the lights came on to illuminate the Bishop Shrine. Beautiful coloring of the clouds in that shot.

The short video today, also comes from Nancy Haun. She said it appears that the wave action is eating away at the Baraga Cliffs this year and wished she had made a longer video of this visibly notable effect.
