So much beauty to behold, both in the archives from years past and in the present, here and now Up North. We start the tour today, back in 2001, with Dan Urbanski, his friend, Jackie and his faithful dog Cosmo, as they enter the fairyland world of the Big Iron River Boat Launch. Dan said the spiderwebs along the Lake were especially dew-laden that day.

We next move up to 2003, with Mrs. Brian Thomas who snapped the second shot of her husband kayaking near Curtis in the Western U.P., framed by the setting sun. So peaceful and serene.

In 2010, Amy Cloutier was waiting to get onto the Yooper Loop just before the Lift Bridge and captured the blue sky and clouds decorating the day. I could stare at the sky for hours, watching the clouds go by.

We arrive here in 2018, where Sharon Bodenus, woke up Monday morning, looked out her bedroom window and could see this beautiful sky. She had to get in her car and take a quick run over to this little lake to get a photo. She said it’s called Larson Lake in the Gwinn area. Thanks for taking us with, you, Sharon!

The description given of our video today is perfect...just a chill video enjoying the great nature we have at our fingertips here in the Upper Peninsula. We’re kayaking scenic whitewater rivers, streams and lakes here in the Western U.P., including, Paint River, Dunn Creek, Net River, Fire Lake, Chicagoan Lake and the Paint River Hemlock rapids. Enjoy the paddle!

I like all the photos but the fog is the best. There is nothing as
peaceful as walking in the fog on a country road. Thanks for posting
them, Mary. Have a great day!

Oh yeah...stunning stuff...but that fog picture is
simply phenomenal!!

Classy pix and a very nice video! I was expecting to see a grizzly on the shoreline at some points on the river.

I guess that image needs a bit of clarification.
