That's right folks... the snow has returned again here UP North and with only a week before Christmas Eve, there's a good chance we'll have a white Christmas after all. Today's first photo is what Laurie Bashaw's yard looked like Tuesday, in Ishpeming. She was hoping for some snow to put the finishing touches on the decorations she had added to the tree in her yard. It sure does make a beautiful statement with the colors peeking out from the blanket of snow. Very festive and magical looking!

The remaining photos are from Richard Anderson who said with hunting season behind us, he thought he'd share a few of the buck photos that were taken with his game camera. He isn't disclosing the location of his trail cameras except to say that they are somewhere north of the Portage Lake Lift Bridge. Rick also said he had seen quite a few bucks before hunting season opened, but they had all disappeared and then once the season was over, they started appearing once again. So he figured the deer have their own calendar to keep track of the dates, too.

The last photo was actually taken from the video that Rick shared, too. That large buck strolled safely past Rick's trail camera on December 9th. Guess you could say he's the one that got away!
