Copper Harbor has a tradition each year before Christmas, where they hold a Winter Wonderfest, which includes a Holiday Marketplace with ornament making, visits with Santa and the main attraction, the tree lighting in the Town Park. Brita Haapala, photographer at Brita Caroline Photography, was on hand there with her kids and her camera, snapping shots of the event to share. It is so much fun to see the wonderment of all the Christmas lights through the eyes of her adorable little ones and then the different reactions to sitting on Santa's lap. Brita's youngest was not too sure about this Santa guy and was close to tears, but Mom said she held them back, while her bigger brother sat there with a grin, whispering what he'd like, for Santa's ear only.

The video of the Tree Lighting ceremony was recorded by Ashlee Harvey and brings you right there to the excitement of the evening, including the countdown to the lighting and the fireworks at the end. What a fun family event!
