About Us
From our beginnings in 1929, we have provided opportunities
for women in the Copper Country to meet in fun and friendship
and to use our many talents in service to our community.
Our members continue the tradition of community service as volunteers
and board members on human services agencies throughout the area.
Members support our ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND to provide scholarships
for qualified female students at Michigan Technological University,
and welcome new families to the area by encouraging their involvement
with our Newcomers Interest Group. What has remained a constant
throughout our history are the lasting friendships linking our
members and their families, forged by the enjoyment of shared
interests and purpose.
All women in the local area who support our purpose are welcome.
