We had an outpouring of photos over the holiday weekend, and here are a couple of falls that caught my eye. The first refreshing scene is behind Scott Falls, which is near Christmas, taken by Jon Jacobson of PictureMichigan.com. The second is a view of Tahquamenon which we don't often see. We usually focus on the big falls and forget that there's more to do and see at this lovely spot.

Thanks to all who sent photos in the past few days. It was a real traffic jam with dozens of shots, and they're all beautiful. Perhaps we should have an "end of summer" page before color season comes.

Charlie. How about making a page with thumbnails of the pix you don't post, where we could browse through them. Have you ever thought of having a hit counter on this page? Once again, your choices for the day are excellent.

Yep, today was another of those days when I go to the Pasty Central home page, look at that picture in the center, and just go, "Ahhhh," knowing a real delight is waiting on the PastyCam page. And a double delight today. The Tahquamenon falls picture reminds me of one I took there on the rowboat ride with my dad and brother, the best picture I have of my dad. Thank you!

Have stood inside this cave many times looking out. It was nice seeing it again. Enjoy the many pictures of the UP. Used to live at Forest Lake and played many times on the falls of the Au Train River below the dam. Was wondering if you might have a picture of those falls??

By the way forgot to mention that I now live in Missouri. Many pretty places down here but nothing like the good old UP.

To all i plan to be back home the week of the 15th and if all works out im not leaving. I just hope calumet is as i remember it. If not that would shatter my hopes and dreams of a small town with proud people that would give you the shirt off there back if you needed it. Charlie i appreciate the fine work you have done for the communite and hopefully when i am up there i can meet you and chat over a good pasty at lunch.
