One highlight of my day is to browse through the guest photo mailbox and enjoy views provided by the many contributors to this feature. The growing season here in the U.P. inspired a flood of green in yesterday's email. Thanks to Kelly, Donn, Dan and Ken for decorating today's Pasty Cam.

Spectacular springs and autumns in the U.P. are God's way of saying, "Sorry about that winter." My parents were just telling me about the flood of Forget-Me-Nots in their yard up there. Thanks for photos to help me visualize that.

Sights, sounds, and smells of spring in the Copper Country...I "Foget-Thee-Not"!

The pictures make me want to visit your corner of the world even more. Your lighthouses are still my number one attraction. Thanks, Ann

Nice one Kelby! :-)

Arbutus, Lady Slippers, Lilacs, Forget-Me-Nots,
Apple Blossoms, Blue Flags, and Tiger Lilys are just a few flowers that make me lonesome for the beauty of the Keweenaw! Although Florida has a real abundance of flora and fauna, none touch my heart like the ones I listed! Pick a bouquet for me please!

By Bl fr Michigan on Tuesday, June 4, 2002 - 08:53 pm:

THE FLOWERS ARE JUST BEAUTIFUL THIS SPRING ALSO THE COW SLIPS ARE EVERYWHERE.

By Ken from da UP on Tuesday, June 4, 2002 - 10:43 pm:

The crab apple blossoms and the apple trees here are in bloom and just smell WONDERMOUS!! Lilacs
are still pretty tight yet, though. YES, the UP is a wonderful place to live. I hear that God's area code is 906. I believe it. :o) It rained here in Cornell most of the day, but so what? At least I'm UP here.

By Ken from da UP on Tuesday, June 4, 2002 - 10:46 pm:

Forgot to mention trilliums all over the woods, too. (Comes with age, I guess.)

By Greta, ca on Wednesday, June 5, 2002 - 06:09 pm:

By Ernie- WA on Wednesday, June 5, 2002 - 11:44 pm:

Greta, from CA. I'm hoping there won't be many bugs this summer cause I'll be going to the U.P. I've been trying to e-mail my cousin Greta from CA
to tell her my plans for the summer. Hopefully I'll get to see you in the U.P. EK
