So often Dan Urbanski's pictures have a quality which engage the senses. Hear the lake in the distance... smell the cold fresh air of a late spring morning... feel the crunch of the crusty snow as we lean to get a closer look at this tiny nest.

A pleasant way to start the day. Thanks, Dan.

I knew this was Dan as soon as I saw it. As many wonderful pictures as there are on this web site, I can almost always pick out one of Dan's. Keep them coming, please.

When the Snow Birds come home to nest they will find a home in the UP!

When snow birds go home to rest life here in Florida gets quiet again. Spring to us means the snow birds head back north, the traffic gets bearable again, and we once again turn back on our Air Conditioning. AH,,,but I have so enjoyed visiting with all my family and friends from up north. I will wait until deer hunting in November to head north and see them again. I will also get lots of quiet time in my deer stand and in the woods behind my Dad's house on Bunbletown hill

Is it just me, or does it look like there is a chick on the left side of the nest?

Like the man said above...You can just tell its Dans photo. It's like he waits around for days to capture a photo such as this. Would you not say he is simply the best? Hey Mr. Dan...how about some lake photos, maybe the spot you love the most, Lake of the Clouds.
