Dan Urbanski grabbed a shot that looks like fall or spring. Hard to believe we're still in the dead of winter, with today's mild temps.

Another interesting week here at the Pasty Cam. We never know how any week will turn out... a mixture of people and places, landmarks and landscapes, mysteries and memories. The Great Lakes region is a wonderful place to live, and the U.P. is right in the heart of it.

And if you don't live here... well, it's a great place to visit. And if you can't visit anytime soon... well... have a pasty this week :o)

Presque Isle River???

Marc,

The water source of Bond Falls is the Middle Branch of the Ontonagon River. It's about 3 or 4 miles east of Paulding, which is on US-45, a highway stretching all the way from Ontonagon to the Gulf of Mexico... where you are somewhere offshore.

Today's locale

Thanks for the picture of the start of US 45 and all the other great pictures of the UP. I live a mile off of US 45 in central Illinois. It's great to see the snow. We haven't had any this year to shovel which is very odd! Keep up the good work and congratulations on 4 years of Pasty Cam!

Great shot of Bond Falls, Dan! Bond Falls is a "must stop" on our way up to Copper Harbor each year. A really nice trail along the river gives one a break from driving!
