Looks like a chilly, but sunny, start to the Henry's Day celebration! It's nice to also see a smiling Rev. Olaf Rankinen, Finlandia Archivist Emeritus, third to the left of "Heiki." Hancock mayor Jim Martin stands to the left of Dr. Ubbelohde, behind Seppo.

Mimi and I were in this snow house this aft. Saw part of the parade from the Heritage Center window as I played my banjo with 'Finn Power' and 'Kilpela and Friends', Les Ross Sr. and 'The Minnesota Pelimannit' groups. Good music, good food and good times were enjoyed by all. Later we were at the Ramada Inn for more music. Just fun!! A beautimous day!

Will there be some pictures of the snow houses and festivites somewhere on the web?
Thanks

There's a bunch of pictures from this year and previous year's festivities over at the Heikinpäivä 2002 website, hosted here at Pasty Central.

Brrr!
