How do they get the surface of those picnic tables so shiny? They almost look wet, they're so glossy. And Dan U. has done it again, as we can feel the texture of the smooth wood and hear the crunch of the leaves as we walk through the park.

In many places throughout the Keweenaw/Western U.P. the color is holding on a little longer, so don't hesitate to plan an excursion next weekend to catch the afterglow of Autumn here in Northern Michigan.
