When he's not in training for roof sled competition, Paul Roberts wanders the U.P. looking for adventure. In today's shot, he spots a couple enjoying pleasant Indian Summer temps, watching the sun sizzle into Lake Michigan. Perhaps they're on their way to the Copper Country, to catch the peak of the color this week.

How close is the color peak??
It is killing me not to be there and see it. I was able to catch the U.P. in full glory last year. Man, what an experience.
I am in Phillie and then to NY before I get back to the great state of Michigan. I hope to catch a little of the color here, but it's not the same as home.

Nice view...being a graduate of Mackinaw City H.S. I have seen this exact view many times but am always embraced by its' beauty as though it was the first. Thanks for the memories.....
