Much of the Eastern U.S. today is in the grip of another crippling snow storm. This morning, the work-week began with blinding flurries here in the Keweenaw. We even wondered whether we should send out today's mountain of pasty orders, what with weather-related air traffic delays. But as the day ended, the skies began clearing. There was even a pleasant streak of red on the horizon as I arrived back in Eagle River this evening. A few miles up the shore from here, Steve Brimm took aim on a similar scene. Can Spring be far behind?

Oh... not to worry... we did send those pasties on their way.

I miss the U.P. so much ~~~I am living in Jackson,MI ....and living here isn't even close to the beauty of the U.P. so when all the snow gets ya frustrated up there remember there are many of us "fellow Yoopers" who are longing to be back!

We are leaving in the morning for a week long visit to LacLaBelle. If I get a picture anything like this while I'm visiting I will be thrilled! After looking at all the pictures on the Pasty Cam, I can't wait to get to the beautiful peaceful Keweenaw.
