Soggy....perfect description for the substratum in the Copper Country at the moment. Even though the rain does make everything a bit waterlogged, it produces some awesome beauty. Dan Urbanski weaves his magic again, giving us a colorful glimpse of a rushing, whirlpool of water. Just one of the many faces Mother Nature turns our way this time of year. Yes, we are lucky people!

As soon as I saw this one, I knew it was another great shot from Dan. What a talent for finding beauty in anything/everything we see.

instead of a background, may be it should be a back splash!

Gerry, Lake, Mi: if you click on the picture of the car for Mon, Nov 17, you will be able to scroll through all the comments. Most who dared to guess thought it was a 1946-48 Buick. That's long before my time so I will go with that consensus.

Its my new background too. Great shot! I agree, Dan finds beauty in the most simplistic things. We all could learn a lesson!

A beautiful picture! I'm thinking the sun is shining in this one. It's the colors that make me think that. Is that blue sky reflecting and some bright light shining down to the bottom of the stream? OR is all that just dreaming on my part.. We have grey skies and lots of rain here, too. Days and days of it forecast, boooooo!

I had a 1952 oldsmobile that looked just about like this car, only the body on this one seems in better shape.
