Was this shot taken atop Mt. Marquette?

This is unfair. I don't mind seeing these beautiful pictures of places I will be visiting soon, but I just left Marquette last week, returning to muggy Maryland. Sure am glad the road to The Island was open for our daily pilgramage. I will be looking for photos of the area being posted; I don't have any online.

Loverly. Thank you, and keep 'em coming! I miss me old hometown...

The higher the resolution, the better so we can use 'em as wallpapers!

Yes, it was taken on Mt. Marquette.

This is a live cam from Iron Bay Computer in downtown Marquette.

Also you can click on the link below and join Iron Bays Online Forum and you can view photos of the Marquette area. Be sure to check out 'IronJohns' photos from Mt Marquette. He sure is a great photographer :)

Does any body know why the road down to Redridge is blocked off? Did someone buy the land and make it off limits?
