Tough day today. So many memories. Listening to a local station now and they were talking what went on here. The DJ was saying a lady called in and waited for 40 minutes to get on the air. She was driving home, back to NY, and was just getting to the Ohio state line when she got on the air. She was saying how terrible it all was and then the DJ felt like there was something more she wasn't saying. He asked if there was something else and she said just a sec, she wanted to pull over. Then she told them at the start of the day she was one of 4 children..... and then she was the only one left. A brother in one tower, a sister & brother in the other. All gone. Thank goodness she survived the attacks. So many stories like that. Fox is scrolling all the names along the bottom all day.

Remembering September 11th
by Lisa Ponder

Bombs dropped on our town,
and two beautiful buildings came down.
All the people started to frown.

You can hear them all through the night.
I huddle in a corner frozen with fright.

The lights have gone out; it's a power cut.
I cover my ears, and my eyes are held shut.

I hear the sirens; I hear a crash.
I hear more people crying in a bash.

I feel for mother; I cry her name.
I feel a warm puddle, and the war is to blame.
Oh, isn't that a shame?

I sit and weep all through the night.
Wondering how September 11th could have been such a fright.
Holding my mother's body oh so tight.

Then I pray for all my friends,
as I watch their family's and our world come to an END!
