Saturday was the Midyear Commencement Ceremony at Michigan Technological University and one of our frequent Pasty Camist photographers was there to record the event in pictures. But Bob Gilreath wasn't there just to take pictures, he was there because his daughter Sarah graduated, earning a degree in Mathematical Sciences, with a concentration in Secondary Education and a minor in Physics. Pretty impressive indeed!

With graduation under their belts, these young people now go out into the world to put their new degrees to work. Some will be out in the job market, looking for employment, while others may have already started on their new career. Bob's daughter Sarah is in the latter group, she will start her new job as the Math teacher at Lake Linden-Hubbell Schools after Christmas break. Congratulations, Sarah, both on your college graduation and your new job!

Congratulations Sarah. Wishing a fulfilling future for you. I wish I could have been at my granddaughter Monica's midterm graduation in Oshkosh last week. She finished a degree in communications. She has a job in local radio plus Walgreen's job to pay bills. She loves all the background work involving radio. Watch out Milwaukee she's on her way. Wow...smart and beautiful!
