The sure wasn't much snow last year on the Bridge Cam.

True, and today's rain may melt what we have left this year

On second thought, a closer look at the current bridge cam makes it doubtful that even a downpour would melt all that.

Good morning. Soggy here in West Michigan this morning, but we're looking forward to a sunny weekend. Have a great day, all!

I'd be glad to settle for (just) rain but it looks as though we can't have that without storms!:< Dodged the bullet yesterday/last night but it's still in the forecast. ho-hum

Loving the crocus!! Sure wish winter would go away!

On our way to the UP! Packing my boots, lol. The roads are slippery out here due to freezing rain. It's going to be a slow drive!!!

Have a great day!

At least you don't have to shovel rain. 22" of snow fell so far this week in Ft. Collins CO.

Then again, you could be dealing with 80° at 8am in the morning and 96% humidity. Matter of fact it never dropped below 75° all night....... bleh!!!

Has to be a great review when you have 3 years in a row with photos from Dan!

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Thursday, April 18, 2013 - 01:12 pm:

I agree with you, Jbuck, Dan was definitely one in a million when it came to photography!

Been watching some frantic deer swimming through our flooded field seeking higher grounds. May not be good days ahead.

Found this in the Ontonagon paper and thought I would share;

With the arrival of spring, wild animals are giving birth and hatching the next generation. Baby red foxes appeared in dens during the last day of March and the first days of April. The first litters of cottontails will appear soon. Great-horned owls have already hatched and are growing up in stick nests high above the ground. Mourning doves have made nests and some have already laid eggs.

This makes me sad as the temps are falling again and more snow on the way. :(
