shirlohio---That would be a very unusual state truck color, to say the least. No, the flag man is hired by the contractor, in this case a paver. Truck probably got bumped up be cause he sleeps while he drives, too.

I was so engrossed in finding E36 this morning (which I thought was a road) that I did not get a good look at the pix...very nice.

Well, as for the colors UP here, it's going to be a beautiful fall. Had a dry summer and lost some leaves early, but, the hardwoods will make a great show. Took a ride today and saw the hints of the trees turning. It was a day that felt like fall. Cool temps, leaves turning and geese honking.

Won't be long and we'll be lighting that woodstove.

That sounds nice, Pinetreegirl. Afraid there's not going to be much color down here....a lot of the trees are dropping their leaves before they get a chance to change. All due to the severe drought, I suppose. But the goldenrod is in full bloom.:)
